Many tourists or travellers travel to Egypt to see the beautiful pyramids in Giza, near Cairo, Egypt. Among these majestic pyramids, the Great Pyramid of Giza is a defining symbol of Egypt and the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It attracts many tourists every year. But the travellers are having a hard time exploring the pyramids and many shared their travel experience was worst in Egypt. There have been countless complaints from the visitors who say their experience was somewhat marred at the amazing Egypt sights.

Following is the main reason for all this:
Visitors to the pyramids at Giza and other major historical sites in Egypt are routinely harassed and followed by continuous pestering from people offering tours, souvenirs, carriage or camel rides. Such behaviour is often found at the country’s famous archaeological sites, such as the pyramids at Giza or the temples of Luxor. Scams are common, and the tourism police rarely intervene.

So in efforts to revive the country's tourism industry, finally Egypt introduces a new law to protect tourists from annoying touts. Egypt's parliament has passed a bill imposing fines on overly aggressive touts. The law approved this week of April 25, 2018, would impose a fine of up to 10,000 Egyptian pounds ($567) on anyone found to have pestered tourists "with the intention of begging or promoting, offering or selling a good or service". The legislation has still to be ratified by Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi.
